Advocacy

At West Virginia Counselors for Social Justice, we are committed to advocating for social justice legislation initiatives and creating a fair and just society. We believe that knowledge empowers individuals to understand, analyze, and navigate the world around them, serving as a catalyst for change. Our organization aims to challenge systemic barriers and promote equity within the field of counseling.

State Policy and Legislation

West Virginia Counselors for Social Justice hopes to create primary objectives to lobby state legislators and administration officials for laws and policies that are favorable to both professional counselors and the clients that they serve. Advocacy initiatives need to be waged.
